In addition to running Georgetown University's channels, I also run Jack the Bulldog's on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
With a social strategy encompassing a daily third-person perspective of Jack's life and community involvement, his social media has amassed over 42,000 followers and growing. Photos for social posts are collected with the help of the Jack Crew student group, but reels, graphics, and animations are designed and executed independently.
Since I joined the team, Jack the Bulldog’s Facebook has seen a 329% increase, along with a 92.7% increase in engagement. Jack’s Instagram has grown by 22.5% and seen an engagement increase of 90.4% and a video view increase of almost 400%.
Jack has several consistent campaigns, including secret roll-outs to announce the new dog and spiritied holiday specials, like Halloween (seen left). The graphic to the left, which was shot and edited in hours before posting, was the lead photo in this years series, where he was Beetlejuice from the film, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.
